AERILY
The project
A case study of an interconnected system of air and soil pollution monitoring devices connected to an app to help individuals minimise their exposure to air pollutants in and around their homes.

Research
Generative research through an ethnographic survey and semi-structured interviews determined the premise of this product. The qualitative and quantitive data uncovered people's behaviours and attitudes concerning air pollution and raised issues around the lack of awareness and trusted information on air pollution within London. This product aims to answer the question -
"How might we empower individuals to make informed decisions to minimise their exposure to harmful pollutants to improve their health and raise awareness?"
